About Cosmos Unlocked

The universe is full of facts that sound made up — a planet where it rains glass, a radio signal we heard once and never again, dead stars denser than anything humans could ever build. Most of them never make the news. This site exists to surface one of them, every single day.

How it works

Cosmos Unlocked runs itself. Every morning, an automated pipeline publishes the day’s fact from a bank of carefully researched, source-cited articles, and refreshes the live dashboard with data straight from NASA’s open APIs and The Space Devs — today’s astronomy picture, upcoming rocket launches, and the asteroids passing closest to Earth this week.

Every fact cites its sources at the bottom of the page. If NASA didn’t say it, we don’t publish it.
